About me

In a few words, here is what you should know about me.

I'm currently an Assistant Professor at the Center for Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering (CIS) at Mines Saint-Etienne in France. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the Clermont-Auvergne University. My research is focused on Data Science in Healthcare, using a wide range of fields such as Process & Data Mining, Machine Learning or Statistics. In particular, I'm interested in the responsible aspects of Data Science, such as ethics or intelligibility. I invite you to reach the Research section if you want to know more about it! Open to any collaboration, I'm looking forward exchanging with any of you interested in my work.

Despite my great interest in what I do at work every day, I have a few other hobbies. "An healthy mind in an healthy body" said Rabelais. So as much as I can, I try to take my mind off work. Huge tennis fan, I hit the yellow ball as often as I can! It remains the best way I've found so far to free myself from bad algorithm results. You should try it too!

I'm really open-minded when it comes to listening to music. As long as it is U2. Far from being a good singer (although my shower and car haven't complained so far), you might be impressed by my air drumming skills!

Finally, as I'm French, I can't hide my love for good food and wine! It would be a pleasure to share this universal passion with any of you!

    DECODER is THE journal you need if like me, you think knowledge is priceless and must be freely accessible; that not-scientists have difficulties in questioning results from research work or asking for precisions. We designed a multidisciplinary journal in which are pubished "popularized" scientific papers, validated by pupils form medium and high schools. Come on, it's THIS WAY!
